Our founder watched a Youtube video to learn and then experimented with different combinations to figure out what worked! The final products weren't final until they were approved by her toddler.

All of our Bon AppéSweet chocolate bars contain cacao and dates. All of our Beyond Chocolate bars contain cacao and cane sugar. The other ingredients vary by flavor and are: vanilla bean, sea salt, almonds, puffed brown rice, raisins, cashews, coconut milk, coffee bits, spices, and pumpkin.

Our founder wanted everyone to be able to have access to high-quality, delicious, better-for-you chocolate, but let's face it, dates are expensive. Also, not everyone is completely against eating sugar; some people just want less sugar. By making Beyond Chocolate, our founder was able to use less added sugar than traditional chocolate bars and give more people the opportunity to experience better chocolate.

Shipping rates vary based on location and order size. The rates are set by the carrier that you select and are not our rates. In the hot months, we add a fee for the cost of ice packs, liners, and 2 day shipping so that your order arrives unmelted. If you live in an area that has temperatures above 72 degrees, expect this extra fee. Please refer to our shipping policy for more detailed information.

Yes, we accept returns within 7 days after delivery. We will pay for the return label if you do not like your chocolate. All chocolate that you would like a refund for must be returned. Please review our return policy for more details.
